{"id":50682,"date":"2026-07-24T10:07:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-24T10:07:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cryptd.in\/ripple-doubles-down-on-rlusd-with-mint-launch-and-notabene-investment\/"},"modified":"2026-07-24T10:07:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T10:07:18","slug":"ripple-doubles-down-on-rlusd-with-mint-launch-and-notabene-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cryptd.in\/uk\/ripple-doubles-down-on-rlusd-with-mint-launch-and-notabene-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"Ripple Doubles Down on RLUSD With Mint Launch and Notabene Investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The company announced the launch of a new platform, dubbed \u2018Ripple Mint,\u2019 that gives institutional customers a single way to access, mint, redeem, and manage RLUSD.<\/p>\n<p>It said the main objective is to make digital dollars easier to access, integrate, and operate at scale as stablecoins become more deeply embedded in trading, payments, and treasury operations.<\/p>\n<h2>Pushing RLUSD\u2019s Institutional Reach<\/h2>\n<p>According to the official blog post, Ripple Mint <a href=\"https:\/\/ripple.com\/insights\/ripple-mint\/\">expands<\/a> RLUSD access beyond traditional platform-based workflows by allowing institutions to manage the stablecoin either through a user interface or through programmatic integrations.<\/p>\n<p>With Ripple Mint, institutions can mint and redeem RLUSD directly from the issuer, bridge the stablecoin across supported blockchains, monitor funds throughout the full transaction lifecycle, and integrate RLUSD operations into their own internal systems and workflows.<\/p>\n<p>The rollout will not affect existing customers of the stablecoin, who will now be able to use the platform for both manual operations and automated integrations. The company has also introduced new APIs and webhook notifications that allow customers to automate RLUSD workflows, query transaction status throughout the minting and redemption process, access account balances programmatically, and receive real-time updates on important events such as fiat receipt, mint processing, on-chain settlement, and payout completion.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the launch of Ripple Mint, Ripple also <a href=\"https:\/\/notabene.id\/post\/notabene-announces-strategic-investment-from-ripple\">made<\/a> a strategic investment in Notabene, a company focused on regulated on-chain transaction infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The two companies said they will work together to grow enterprise stablecoin payments by integrating RLUSD into Notabene Flow, the firm\u2019s B2B stablecoin payments platform. The focus will also be on exploring how trusted payment authorization can complement Ripple Payments.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership combines Ripple\u2019s enterprise payments ecosystem and RLUSD with Notabene\u2019s institutional network, which reportedly spans more than 2,300 connected institutions across over 100 jurisdictions, serves more than 280 customers, and facilitates more than $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume.<\/p>\n<h2>Expansion<\/h2>\n<p>Ripple\u2019s RLUSD has continued to expand its presence since launching and now has a market capitalization of nearly $1.6 billion. Last August, Ripple <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-taps-sbi-to-distribute-rlusd-stablecoin-in-japan-but-xrp-falls\/\">partnered<\/a> with Japan\u2019s SBI Holdings to distribute the stablecoin in the country through SBI VC Trade starting in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2026, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/major-ripple-xrp-news-in-asia-can-rlusd-enhance-settlement-speeds-report\/\">joined<\/a> the Monetary Authority of Singapore\u2019s BLOOM initiative with Unloq to test RLUSD and the XRP Ledger for programmable cross-border trade settlement.<\/p>\n<p>A month later, OKX <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-teams-up-with-major-crypto-exchange-to-boost-rlusd-liquidity\/\">listed<\/a> the stablecoin to expand its global access, liquidity, and trading utility.
