For several weeks, Pioneers have debated whether the Core Team is preparing to roll out significant updates on that date, with some floating the idea of a potential Binance listing.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Pi Network <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PiCoreTeam\/status\/2069856775839559807\">added<\/a> fuel to the rumors by describing Pi2Day as a milestone-driven event and highlighting that last year\u2019s edition included Pi App Studio, Directory Staking, Node updates, and other releases.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cStay tuned on June 28 for what\u2019s to come,\u201d it teased.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Shortly after, the team <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PiCoreTeam\/status\/2069966340304031999\">reminded<\/a> that Pi2Day marks the final deadline for the Vibe Coder campaign. The initiative aims to bring AI-driven applications into the project\u2019s real distribution network through Pi App Studio. June 28 is also the last day of\u00a0the Pi Launchpad testing period, which features the new test token, SLICE.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBoth initiatives help contribute to the growth, development, and use of the Pi ecosystem and its utilities,\u201d the Core Team stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As usual, the announcements were met with mixed feelings by the community. Some said they are excited about Pi2Day and look forward to the potential updates, while others stressed that the migration to mainnet and KYC procedures remain hurdles that need to be addressed as a priority.<\/p>\n<h2>PI Price Outlook<\/h2>\n<p>The token remains under heavy pressure, falling alongside the reset of the crypto market.
