Bird, an XRP Ledger (XRPL) developer, took to X on Wednesday, March 25, to present<\/a> his new bullish outlook for XRP. Firstly, the analyst highlighted the discrepancy between XRP\u2019s current price and what he believes should be its true value<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bird stated plainly that \u201cXRP is a $100+ token trading at $1.40.\u201d The developer\u2019s statement suggests a strong belief that the cryptocurrency\u2019s current price does not reflect its underlying utility potential. His reasoning likely centers on XRP\u2019s role in the global payments ecosystem<\/a>, particularly its use by financial institutions for cross-border transactions.<\/p>\n

Unlike many cryptocurrencies that derive value primarily from speculative interest and hype, XRP is positioned as a functional settlement layer for banks<\/a> and payment providers worldwide.
