The move came as digital asset investment products posted their sixth straight week of inflows, bringing in $857.9 million across the market.<\/p>\n<p>The broader tone was helped by improving sentiment around the CLARITY Act, especially after lawmakers <a href=\"https:\/\/researchblog.coinshares.com\/volume-285-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-9c2536e39a4b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">reached a compromise on<\/a> stablecoin yield rules.<\/p>\n<h2>Spot XRP Inflows Jump 1,220%<\/h2>\n<p>CoinShares\u2019 latest<a href=\"https:\/\/researchblog.coinshares.com\/volume-285-digital-asset-fund-flows-weekly-report-9c2536e39a4b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> weekly flow data<\/a> shows XRP-based exchange-traded products received $39.6 million in inflows last week, compared to only about $3 million in the prior week. That is a 1,220% increase in seven days and brings XRP\u2019s year-to-date flow to $191 million. XRP\u2019s assets under management also climbed to about $2.56 billion, placing it among the strongest non-Bitcoin crypto investment products in the latest report.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin still dominated the market with $706.1 million in weekly inflows, while Ethereum recorded $77.1 million and Solana brought in $47.6 million. However, those numbers mostly reflect the larger size of their markets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>XRP\u2019s move is much more notable because it shows a sudden change in allocation behavior. Investors who had only been adding small amounts to XRP products in previous weeks stepped in with much larger sizes, pushing XRP ahead of most altcoin products outside of Ethereum and Solana.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" class=\"size-large wp-image-896019\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/XRP-chart-from-CoinShares.png?w=512&amp;resize=512%2C331\" alt=\"XRP\" width=\"512\" height=\"331\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the regional flow data shows that the United States was the main pipeline of last week\u2019s rebound. US-based products recorded $776.6 million in inflows, a 1,530% recovery from the previous week\u2019s $47.5 million inflows. Germany followed with $50.6 million, Switzerland added $21.1 million, and the Netherlands recorded $5 million.<\/p>\n<h2>XRP\u2019s Growing Institutional Infrastructure<\/h2>\n<p>The inflows into XRP-based products came during a period of wider inflow into crypto products. However, there were a<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/xrp-etf-holdings-unveiled-by-5-trillion-ubs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> few significant developments<\/a> last week that helped contribute to a positive institutional narrative around XRP and Ripple\u2019s entire ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Most notably,<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/mastercard-ripple-complete-transaction-use-case-xrp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> Ripple announced the<\/a> successful completion of a pilot tokenized US Treasury settlement on the XRP Ledger with JPMorgan, Mastercard, and Ondo Finance, processing the redemption in under five seconds. This event, which is part of the rapid growth in tokenized real-world assets, was enough to increase bullish sentiment surrounding the Ripple and XRP ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern of institutional demand is also becoming more durable. April had already been the strongest monthly inflow period of 2026 for US-listed XRP ETF products, and last week\u2019s surge suggests that momentum has carried into the new month.<\/p>\n<p>The CLARITY Act is also one of the biggest reasons behind the sudden improvement in fund flows across the entire market.
