An XRP enthusiast called The Real Remi Relief, who is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/analysis\/xrp\/mapping-out-xrp-path-to-1200\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \">known for his ultra-bullish predictions<\/a> for XRP, projected that the cryptocurrency would need to trade somewhere around $1,500 to $2,000 just to provide enough liquidity and keep slippage <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/ripple-embedded-xrp-into-worlds-treasury-plumbing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">under control if this happens.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>50% Of SWIFT Theory Produces A 4-Figure XRP Number<\/h2>\n<p>Ripple\u2019s ecosystem <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/massive-xrp-adoption-trend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">now has partnerships with<\/a> around 300 institutions, mostly through its acquisition of Hidden Road in 2025. Furthermore,<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/xrp-moment-has-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> at least 30 of<\/a> the 50-plus banks named in SWIFT\u2019s new retail payments framework are already maintaining ties to Ripple\u2019s network. Therefore, it is no longer theoretical that Ripple could absorb a notable chunk of SWIFT\u2019s flows in the coming years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RemiReliefX\/status\/2046313939240210535?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Calculations on X by <\/a>crypto commentator The Remi Relief are putting hard numbers to the scenario, and the figures land the XRP price in four-digit territory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The model begins with SWIFT\u2019s scale. SWIFT facilitates approximately $150 trillion in cross-border transactions annually. The Remi Relief\u2019s framework applies a 50% capture scenario to that volume.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At that threshold, around $250 billion must be held in active XRP liquidity at any given moment to prevent slippage, which is a pricing disruption that occurs when large trades move through thin order books. The math produces a price in the range of $1,500 to $2,000 for each unit of XRP in order to prevent this. Scale the capture rate to 100% of SWIFT, and the projection doubles to anywhere between $3,000 and $4,000 per XRP.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The model works only if one accepts the starting assumption that XRP would actually be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/xrp-news\/ripple-and-xrp-swift-connection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \">handling a huge portion of<\/a> SWIFT flows in the first place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Ripple Is Building For Institutions<\/h2>\n<p>Ripple\u2019s recent strategy shows why some investors think the long-term XRP case is becoming more serious. In April 2025, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/2026-defining-year-ripple-with-xrp-at-the-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">announced its <\/a>$1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road, one of the biggest deals in the crypto industry, and later completed that transaction as part of<a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/ripples-new-whitepaper-xrp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> its push to build <\/a>institutional-grade financial infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Following its acquisition of GTreasury in 2025, Ripple expanded its Treasury platform into SWIFT\u2019s ecosystem. Ripple Treasury\u2019s platform now gives corporates a choice between traditional SWIFT rails and blockchain-powered settlement in seconds using XRP or RLUSD.<\/p>\n<p>However, building institutional rails is very different from capturing half of SWIFT, as the network is also not standing still.
