There\u2019s no evident end in sight, but the most recent pause could allow markets some breathing room.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we will exclude macroeconomics from this article and focus more on technical aspects and current investor behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Ali Martinez, a popular crypto analyst, told his 135,000 followers on X that Binance traders went on a buying BTC spree, with the Taker Buy\/Sell Ratio exploding to 1.8. He believes this is a positive sign that bulls \u2018might be stepping in.\u2019<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">A big spike in buying pressure for <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">#Bitcoin<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">$BTC<\/a> just hit on Binance. Bulls might be stepping in <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dGTbaCMUoa\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">pic.twitter.com\/dGTbaCMUoa<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ali (@ali_charts) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1911206950953513032?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">April 12, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Futures traders on the world\u2019s largest exchange, on the other hand, have <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ali_charts\/status\/1911131688517673294\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">opened<\/a> mostly short positions, with over 56% of all trades hoping for a price decline. However, history <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/is-bitcoin-poised-for-a-100k-rebound-bearish-crowd-suggests-so\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">shows<\/a> that BTC tends to do the opposite of what the crowd expects from it, especially on the derivatives scene.<\/p>\n<h2>Tech Aspects<\/h2>\n<p>While the long-standing battle between bulls and bears <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/bitcoin-weekend-pump-to-85k-is-the-rally-real-or-a-trap\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">continues in full force<\/a>, Martinez noted that bitcoin has managed to \u2018slice through\u2019 the first significant resistance in its way toward price redemption \u2013 the 50-day SMA, which is around $84,500. Although BTC is yet to fully overcome that level as it sits next to it now, the overall bullish momentum in the past few days suggests more gains are to come.<\/p>\n<p>If BTC indeed passes through this line, the next major obstacle will be the 200-day SMA at $87,250. Should that fall, the cryptocurrency could surge toward $94,000, Martinez added.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">#Bitcoin<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\">$BTC<\/a> is slicing through the 50-day SMA.
