The primary cryptocurrency recently experienced one of its most severe corrections since the beginning of 2024. As <\/span>CryptoPotato<\/span><\/em> reported<\/span><\/a>, its price briefly tanked below $54,000 for the first time since February.<\/span><\/p>\n

And while some might take that as a sign that the bull market could be over, others argue that such declines are <\/span>normal<\/span> and part of BTC\u2019s expansion path. The <\/span>popular<\/span> X user il Capo of Crypto <\/span>noted<\/span><\/a> the market\u2019s substantial plunge but thinks investors should not \u201cflip bearish.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s time to zoom out and keep a cool head. Wrong for the moment, but holding strong. Time will tell,\u201d the analyst added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Crypto Tony <\/span>compartido<\/span><\/a> a similar stance, outlining that the latest market crash can\u2019t be compared to the overall bullish year (so far) for the cryptocurrency industry:<\/span><\/p>\n

Rekt Capital thinks<\/a> the leading digital asset has yet to benefit from the BTC halving<\/span>, which occurred<\/a><\/span> in April of this year.<\/span> The analyst noted that the price peaked more than 500 days after the halving in 2016 and the one in 2020:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf history repeats and the next Bull Market peak occurs 518-546 days after the halving\u2026 That would mean Bitcoin could peak in this cycle in mid-September or mid-October 2025.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The halving is an important event that <\/span>happens<\/span> approximately every four years <\/span>y<\/span> slashes in half the miners\u2019 rewards for validating new blocks on the BTC blockchain.<\/span> Historically, the process has <\/span>been followed<\/span> by a massive resurgence for the primary cryptocurrency and the entire market.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pessimistic Scenario<\/span><\/h2>\n

It is worth mentioning that some<\/span> analysts suggested that BTC\u2019s rally might be over.<\/span> One example is the X user Ali Martinez, who assumed that the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, the meme coin mania, and the tokens introduced by celebrities could have been everything this bull run had to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n
