Crypto analyst CryptoSensei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/x\/PPH7EnKs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u03b1\u03c0\u03bf\u03ba\u03ac\u03bb\u03c5\u03c8\u03b5 \u03c4\u03bf<\/a> on X that a new XRPL proposal aims to reduce the risk of flash loan attacks, a type of exploit that has already cost DeFi protocols hundreds of millions of dollars across the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Flash loans allow attackers to borrow large amounts of capital within a single transaction, and are often used to manipulate prices and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/news\/buy-side-explodes-xrp-liquidity-7x-heavier-than-sells-on-coinbase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \">liquidity<\/a> pools. The proposal introduces safeguards designed to make such attacks significantly harder to execute.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, as DeFi activity continues to expand on the Ledger, security improvements are becoming increasingly important. Stronger protections are essential for attracting developers, users, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/analysis\/xrp\/xrp-biggest-institutional-unlock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \">institutional<\/a> capital to the ecosystem.
