It also wants to enhance DeFi protection by regulating centralized intermediaries rather than software developers or decentralized protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Arguably, the most divisive feature was the regulation of stablecoins and potential yields, with some industry experts <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/charles-hoskinson-slams-clarity-act-as-horrific-bill\/\">calling<\/a> it a \u2018horrible\u2019 bill, while Coinbase was <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/citron-research-accuses-coinbase-ceo-brian-armstrong-of-undermining-clarity-act\/\">blamed<\/a> for undermining it.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, US President Donald Trump remains optimistic that it will be passed soon and, while speaking at the Mar-a-Lago event, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/sander_lutz\/status\/2048104431770558922\">reportedly said<\/a> he would \u201csign it immediately\u201d once it lands on his desk.
